Property Building in OYO Oban Hotel
As a solo traveller it can be hard to find cheap hotels that cater for someone by themselves. I was happy to have a small room with a single bed as that is all I needed. Bonus was that this room had a beautiful view of the beach! The shower was good and whilst the bathroom was small it was fine for what I needed. The room still had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel with a kettle and small tv and desk space too. Location was perfect on the beach and close to some nice local fish and chip restaurants and only a 15 min walk or so to the main station

There is no breakfast served in the hotel, but you can walk around and you will find many options. The internet was great and very useful, as I had meetings and this was actually the reason I choose this hotel and I cancelled other booking done previously with another hotel, where there were bad reviews for the internet. I also had a room with sea views which was great. A bit noisy because of the outside traffic, during the day, but quiet during the night.

Location was fantastic, one of our rooms had a sea view which was great for looking out whilst having a cup of tea in the mornings, and catching some of the air show if we went back for any reason, rooms were sufficient, beds were comfy and it was quiet at night which meant we got some much needed rest and sleep, staff were friendly.

Seafront so good views from my room which was spotless and comfortable. Good wifi in room. Good selection of restaurants and cafes in next street. Nice walking along front to pier etc or town centre. Hotel room only. Tea and coffee with kettle in room. Very clean throughout. Very good price. Helpful staff and smiles!

Great location near all amenities pubs shops etc. They accommodated my request for a room on the ground floor which was great as I'm no Spring chicken. It was clean with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. I'm returning on Wednesday 6th for three nights.
